湄公河水壩嚴重衝擊柬埔寨漁業 湄公河委員會(MRC)最新出爐的重大政策環評（SEA）警告，12座預定在湄公河下游建造的水力發電水壩（有兩座在柬埔寨境內），重創逾1百萬柬埔寨依賴漁業為生的漁民生計程度恐不亞售屋網於寮國、越南及泰國等湄公河沿岸國。SEA建議MRC沿岸國以10年期做好充分調查該計畫潛在哪些負面效益之前暫緩與水力發電計畫有關的任何決策。供應充足價格低廉水產品的湄公河乃世界公認漁業資源豐富的流域之一土地買賣。該報告以2000年為基準預估，在湄公河下游建造11座水壩，2030年前的水產量每年恐將蒙受55萬-88萬公噸的損失；若沒有在主流域建造水壩的話，2030年則約損失340,000公噸。（摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 21世紀房屋仲介22/2010）MEKONG DAMS WOULD RESULT IN MASSIVE FISHERIES LOSSESCambodia faces enormous fisheries losses if a series of hydro-electric power dams areconstructed on the Mekong River, says an 訂做禮服impact study, the Strategic Environmental Assessment(SEA), released last month by the Mekong River Commission (MRC). The study found thatmore than one million fisheries-dependent people could 景觀設計lose their livelihoods in Cambodia alone,the country which is likely to be most affected along with other MRC countries, Laos, Vietnamand Thailand.A total of 12 hydro-electric-dams have been 代償proposed for the Lower Mekong River, includingtwo in Cambodia. Due to the potential negative effects of the projects, the SEA recommendedthat MRC countries should delay any decisions on the 景觀設計hydropower projects for a period of 10years to all further research.The Mekong basin is one of the most productive aquatic systems in the world, providingplentiful supplies of low-value fish. 婚禮顧問The study estimates that construction of 11 dams in theLower Mekong Basin would result in the loss of at least 550,000 to 880,000 MT of fish per yearby 2030 compared to 2000 and around 燒烤340,000 MT compared to the projected situation in 2030if no mainstream dams were built.
